Engage in tons of new Halloween-themed exclusive content! Check out the new maps, gamemodes, skins, unusuals and other additions! Dozens of community contributions have helped with the creation of this update in preparation for the spooky season.

Additions

Maps

As a part of the Evade Halloween Event 2022, eight new Halloween themed maps have been added to Evade, which have a 25% #ticket bonus. Here are the added maps as follows:

• Catacombs - Abandonment, flesh, nerve and bone. Created by Subzeroto, Spookiner, & gecbomb
• Cemetery- Here lies the final resting place of hundreds of poor, suffering souls. Created by 1TeethPaste
• Hallow's Rail- A place for the most fun you can ever have.. permanently. Created by reamnit, wlfguy3, le_Guom, & K0D14C
• Insane Asylum - An infamous abandoned insane asylum, known for causing hallucinations and freakouts in those who dare to explore. Created by Aurrous
• Nightmare Library - Refitted as a location for Evade High School's annual Haunted House event. Created by 4it3dm1, ANUOHM, & ig57
• Pumpkin Emporium - Don't get lost. Created by AzoDz & SeafoamBreeze
• Tudor Manor - Antique mansions from the 18th century, this relic of our past has been kept in a pristine condition due to supernatural causes. Created by Lelerism
• Warped Estate - Dabbling in space-time has resulted in a liminal space with no reason to exist. Created by Bad_Yam

Special Rounds

• Lurking - A temporary special round that combines the Darkness and the Evil Munci special rounds.
• AngryMunci2/3 - Spawns in a Angry Munci. Each tier increases the amount of Angry Muncis that spawn.
• SuperMunci2/3 - Spawns in a Super Munci. Each tier increases the amount of Super Muncis that spawn.

Gamemodes

• Pro Servers - Level 50+ servers where players with plenty of experience with the game can hang out. No easy maps are available on the voting menu.
• Infection - A temporary run and chase game focused on infecting survivors and to prevent them from surviving the round.

Tickets

• Tickets, a new form of currency used in the Halloween battlepass. Collect them to purchase items, ranging from cosmetics, skins, to emotes. Tickets randomly spawn throughout the map over the course of a round, and winning a round grants extra tickets as well. As mentioned above, Halloween-themed maps have a 25% ticket bonus.

Battle Pass

The 2022 Halloween event uses a battlepass to unlock dozens of items. Each tier starts from the cheapest to the most expensive, unusuals are often the most expensive item in each tier, each costing over hundreds of tickets. In order to unlock a tier, you must purchase a portion of the previous tiers items, and each tier will become unlockable after a day.

Cosmetics and Emotes

Over 60+ Cosmetics have been added, ranging from deployable skins, player accessories, unusuals, emotes, and more.

Along with the Halloween-themed items, there have also been new cosmetics available on the daily shop. Including Unusuals, Deployable skins, and more. Two new emotes "Conga", and "Flexing" have also been added.

Other Changes

• Decoy's cost has been decreased from $500 to $450.
• Released a hotfix for Teleporter glitching.

These were subordinate updates that added small changes and fixes.

Part #2

• Fixed Cursed Eye cosmetic not appearing.
• Fixed other cosmetics not appearing.
• Fixed broken doors on some maps + leading to the floor to be unanchored (Ex. Tudor Manor).
• Turned off shadows for most lights on all Halloween maps, reducing lighting quality overall, but significantly boosting FPS in return.
• Made the trains on Train Terminal have a longer delay.
• Reduced Reward multiplier for certain special rounds, and increased the multiplier for others.
• Other minor bug fixes.

Part #3

• Added Pizza Zed nextbot as per deal with Parrot_Btw.
• Tickets are now client-sided and can only be obtained by the local player.
• Added in 'Credits' UI.
  • Includes inspirations and credits for various contributors and other game IPs.
• Event tab now has 2 pages.
• Added an Event 'Milestone' UI.
  • Upon accumulating a certain amount of tickets, you will be given a special cosmetic to reward your hard effort.
  • Current milestones include the Ticket, Orange Ticket and Gold Ticket
• Adjusted sword hit registration again.
• Fixed 'Page' text not appearing.
• Tier requirement adjusted (total tier items -3 instead of total tier items - 2).
• Fixed issues with Warped Estate.
• New 'UGC Items' robux option.
  • Included Bobo plush and Jard plush at the time, now includes HDC Pin also.
• Adjusted carpet texture on Nightmare Library

Part #4

• Body is now visible in first person.
• Added a ‘Zombie’ mechanic to the Infection gamemode.
  • Increased speed, reduced acceleration.
  • Force equips ‘Corruptor’ item.
