An Unusual Update was a large-scaled update that released a new feature, Unusuals, which cosmetic-like effects that mainly show around the users' head. There were also many other changes as well.

Additions

Unusuals

• Unusuals are unique particle effects that you can apply to your character.
  • They have their own cosmetic slot
    • Typically expensive and requires a lot of grinding
      • Previous particle effects have been converted into unusuals.

Daily Store

• The Daily Shop now has 4 slots of items.
  • The first 3 are for regular shop items.
    • The 4th one is for special items, including unusuals and certain exotic skins.

Server Menu

• Enable/Disable AI.
• Insert AI.
• Insert Vehicle (unstable).

• Infectious by Dine.
• Goofy Stride by Dine.
• Bold March by Dine.

Maps

• Crossroads - Based on the famous Crossroads map from the Golden Age of Roblox. Made by UnexpectedDev3loper.
• Death Maze - Your worst nightmare.
• Icebreaker - An outpost stationed around a frozen icebreaker in the middle of the Arctic. Created by AzoDz.
• Jungle - Once a temple belonging to the mighty Mayan Empire, now a desolate, rotting assortment of bricks in the middle of nowhere. Created by wlfguy3.
• Neighborhood - A small cul-de-sac of rundown houses. Created by Subzeroto.
• Station - A train station currently under construction in the middle of downtown. Created by bluirre.
• Trimp - appears 95% less often than other maps.

• Military Incursion.

Changes

UI Changes

• In-game health bar.
  • Used specifically on Military Incursion and Imposter modes.
• In-game player count HUD.
• In-game item name HUD.
• Ability to change emote volume.
• Adjusted many buttons.
• Daily Shop now has 4 slots.
• Removed Cosmetics slot showing up random item cosmetics rather than character cosmetics.
• Shop blur effect.
• Support for 'Icon' daily shop items (for unusuals).

Other Changes

• Changed Engineer’s idle sound due to copyright.
• Added Alien Grunt (Date added may be unofficial).
• Many new admin commands.
• Certain special rounds have been made admin-only.
• More guns.
• 'Convoy' vehicle.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed speed bugs.
• Fixed bugs related to vehicles.
• Fixed many exploit vulnerabilities.
• Removed him.

Minor Updates

These were updates the were added to the game later the same day, and were mostly small fixes.

Part #2

• Fixed issue relating to ragdolls.

Part #3

• Figured out speed issue. Current temporary solution has been replaced with a better fix that keeps the original B-hop mechanics on mobile.
• Made difficulty vote size larger.
• Inserting Vehicles now correctly sets your rewards value to 0.
• Inserting AIs now correctly sets your rewards value to 0.

Part #4

• Fixed AIs (not Nextbots) causing the shaking effect to occur.

Part #5

• Possibly fixed map loading issues, roblox would continuously poop itself with maps with weather (or it could not be idk, every report has something to do with the weather fx) (no guarantee it works).
• This means any map with weather (Rain, fog, snow, etc) is disabled temporarily.
• All servers will be restarted.

Part #6

• Added in damage vignettes.
• New Vehicle: APC.
• Removed some of Icebreaker's invisible walls.
• Edited Icebreaker.
• Fixed water on Icebreaker not damaging correctly.
  • Now deals 20 damage every second.
    • Doesn't apply to AIs.
• Edited Crossroads.
• Fixed maps breaking.
• Fixed fourth map occasionally not showing up, causing the game to softlock.
• Fixed voting sometimes not appearing.
• Fixed Shining Sparkles unusual not being placed in the right spot.
• Shining Sparkles price reduced.
• AIs now deal less damage.
• Radio now turns on global chat instead of a radio-only chat.
• Fixed health on the HUD going below 0.
• Fixed health on the HUD not being an integer occasionally.
• Exploit patches.
• Removed him.

• Fixed Neighborhood cameras (new servers only).
