Default Barrier Usables
Default Barrier - A large barricade that is able to temporarily stop nextbots. $60 Level 5+

The Barrier is a usable that can be bought from the shop for $60 if Level 5 or higher.

Overview

When the Barrier is placed, it will remain in place for 3 minutes unless broken by a nextbot and the imposter. It can help stop a nextbot and provide players with time to escape. It is effective on maps such as Maze, and Backrooms, as when a nextbot approaches it will be delayed by the Barrier. It can also be used on maps like Drab to make bots fall down when colliding with it.

During the special rounds Darkness and Lurking, the barrier can be used to see just a bit further than normal by looking through the barrier's forcefield.

In the game mode "Team Death Match," barriers also stop the opposing team from entering the area it "guards." The opposing players can't break the barriers but might find a way to jump around them.

Important:

In order for the barrier to work properly, no gap should be left between, i.e., a door frame or an opening, as nextbots will often go through this gap instead of being temporarily stopped by the barrier, rendering the barrier useless. A way to help with placing barriers is by crouching (hold "ctrl" or "c"). This makes you - the player move slower, helping with more precise placement..

Appearance

The default barrier is a large rectangle with 2 black "arms" on both ends with a blue force field in the middle. It is used to stall nextbots. Depending on the skin, the shape of the barrier may vary, sometimes being larger or taller than the default variant.
