Evade has received many updates over the months. Game updates are recorded in the change-log channel on the Evade Discord server. The change log can be viewed here. Some major updates have been named, usually containing features related to the name.
Several new items on the shop! Spice up your gameplay with these new tilities:
Breacher - An expensive, but powerful tool. Capable of creating portals that instantaneously teleport the player between them, while conserving momentum to allow cool movement tricks. Your portals cannot teleport other players
Revive Grenade - A saving grenade within your hands, throw it at a group of people have been downed to instantly revive them.
Smoke Grenade - Emits a trick smoke that temporary hides you from the Nextbots. Use it when you are in a pinch or need to traverse through a tight corridor!

Player Nextbot has returned!!! Play on this iconic gamemode to have a chance at become a nextbot yourself! Chase players or end up running away from you friends!!
New small maps variant! Previously, large maps such as Complex were unavailable to smaller server due their large map size. While it did solve that problem, people on smaller server could not enjoy some of these iconic and beautiful maps. Now, 14 maps have been smaller variants, with slight layout changes. This will be available on both small and large servers, like Big Team
The April Fool's 2024 campaign is now playable in the Extras menu under the gamemode selection
Fixed character cache fixes, with should hopefully patch the bald avatar bug, and layered clothing not appearing.

Re-added Mansion by 00MF00, a Overhaul version of the legacy map.
Moved community servers to use memory stores, which should prevent infinite loading screens when trying to connect to them, alongside it throttling cross-server and global communication.

COMMUNITY SERVERS
Using a Community Server Subscription, you can create your own custom server. Edit the max players, gamemodes, round settings, and more, and publish it to the server browser. It's like VIP servers but better. Misuse will result in a ban.
R15 AVATARS
Express yourself with more freedom, with R15 avatars. UGC clothing, body parts, layered clothing, you name it. Enabling R15 doesn't affect your movement in any way, so feel free to switch between the two. If you do not like viewing R15 avatars, you can disable it in your settings
New Perk
Try out the new "Treads" perk, increasing your base walkspeed by 25%. It may seem minimal, but it works similarly to Hermes, but you can now run backwards, swim faster, emote faster, and have a slightly easier time doing certain movement tricks
You can exchange your leftover Halloween Candy for tokens, points, and experience

It's been nearly 2 years since the launch of Evade, and almost 1 and half years of work on this update
What took so long?
When the project first started, it was to convert the game to R15. After that, we redid a lot of the visual for the game and redid some maps.
This was the long period where we mostly worked in isolation. Movement changes were happening that weren't playtested etc.
After the release in October, I realized that it was a really stupid idea. I reverted it and went back to the drawing board, and spent a long time figuring out how the movement worked (SPOILER: it was a nightmare. This is what happens when bugs become core movement feature lol)
Then, I decided to redo the whole codebase a SECOND time because the original rewrite just wasn't cutting it.
Here we are. Good news is that the next updates won't have to take this long.

Slightly nerfed the mission difficulty in funrooms & backrooms, the mission still remains fairly challenging, best played while on a desktop and not mobile
The mission uses the engine made for evade overhaul which allows for more complex behavior and mechanics and that this campaign mission took like 2-3 days so obviously it's not that well made or planned out like stand alone games such as Halo, RDR2, Gears of War, COD, etc, but is representative of what future things we could add to the game
Remember the Rebels, the Troopers and the curious gadgets of vehicles you can occasionally spawn in in our previous game Evade? INVADE is an expansion of those concepts, stretched out into a full campaign-length experience.
Temporary will replace Evade as testing is more efficient with a ton of players
As a result, the St Patricks Day gamepass has been removed, and oddball will also be removed unless you guys want it back in lol

Confetti Bomb - On the Defender side of the campaign, press 'T' to use your 'Confetti' ability, which will direct attention away from allies who are in a tighter situation
Anti-Gravity Well - On the Attacking side of the campaign, locations may experience some local displacement due to advanced technology.
Unstable Lava - Utilized by the Attacking side of the campaign. Lava is a side effect of their invasion, and may appear on certain locations.

Tickets, a new form of currency used in the Halloween battlepass. Collect them to purchase items, ranging from cosmetics, skins, to emotes. Tickets randomly spawn throughout the map over the course of a round, and winning a round grants extra tickets as well. Halloween-themed maps have a 25% ticket bonus.

The 2022 Halloween event uses a battlepass to unlock dozens of items. Each tier starts from the cheapest to the most expensive, unusuals are often the most expensive item in each tier, each costing over hundreds of tickets. In order to unlock a tier, you must purchase a portion of the previous tiers items, and each tier will become unlockable after a day.

High-tech items discovered within Ikea have lent us a new phase of evasion. Using a special wrench, you are now able to place various deployables of any kind to your heart’s content (don’t exceed the 3 deployable limit!)
Mine - Stuns the Nextbot when walked over. Can also cause injury to the owner of the mine if they also step over it.
Beacon - Emits a highlighting effect that allows anyone in the map to view your location.
Upon usage, a copy of your character will walk straight forward. This decoy will have sparkling electricity effects. The Nextbot will be able to target this decoy and instantly kill it, so use this as a distraction.

This will include general stress-testing, and won't be as big as previous sessions.
The majority of content shown in this demo is what you'll be seeing at launch (with some exceptions including new nextbot additions)
What's changed?
Slide mechanic (press control/shift on mobile to slide)

Revive mechanic - revive other players when they die. You can only be revived once, otherwise you automatically die.
Carry mechanic - carry players if they are downed and need a revive. However, you cannot jump while carrying someone. This is so that you can get some distance from the AI
