New Utilities update was a small update for Evade. The New Utilities Update released on May 9 (May 10 in most countries), 2025.

Additions

Utilities

• Breacher
  • An expensive, but powerfull tool, Capable of creating portals that instantaneously teleport the player between them, while conserving momentum to allow cool movement tricks. Your portals cannot teleport other player.
• Revive Grenade
  • A saving grace within your hands, throw it at a group of people have been downed to instantly revive them.
• Smoke Grenade
  • Emits a thick smoke that temporarily hides you from the Nextbots. Use it when you are in a pinch or need to traverse through a tight corridor!

Map Variants

• 14 new small maps variants.

Badges

• Extra Content: Interloper Mission - Beat the extra Interloper Mission, a special campaign playthrough originally released for April Fools 2024. Note that this is distinct from the original Interlope badge.
  • Important note: This badge is currently unavailable due to a mission error in the AP_Funrooms map and a final room.

Event Description

• Use new utilities, such as the smoke grenade, revive grenade, and breacher to aid with your survival! Play on revamped maps made for smaller servers, from Complex to Elysium Laboratory. And possibly more! (TBD)

Gamemodes

• Interloper Mission and Player Nextbots added back.
• Secretly added Prop Hunt to custom servers and VIP Server Panel
  • Currently broken.

  • Has a low chance of appearing in the map vote.

• Removed Bobo Ception.
• Removed Infomaniac’s kill sound.
• Removed classic maps from public servers.
• Removed event map icon above regular maps.

Contents

• Player Nextbots has returned! Play on this iconic gamemode to have a chance at becoming a Nextbot yourself! Chase players or end up running away from your friends.
• New 'Small' Map Variants! Previously, large maps such as Complex were unavailable to smaller servers dues to their large map size. While it did solve that problem, people on smaller servers could not enjoy some iconic and beautiful maps. Now, 14 maps have a smaller variant, with slight layout changes. This will be available on both small and large servers like Big Team!.
• Significantly reduced the prices of 'Force map' and 'Force Special Round' prices, by up to 30% !.
• Reverted Easter decorations on maps. We may continue to decorate future maps in events such as Desert Bus.
