Seraph Research is one of the various Maps in Evade. It was released on July 22, 2022 in the Alpha Testing #1 and was revamped in the Overhaul update along with a few maps. It was created by Beefchoplets and OsterDog. It's appearance was inspired by gm_asylum.
After the Overhaul update, this map can only be obtained through a private server or Legacy Evade. As of March 17, 2025, the map has been re-added to public servers.

When the Overhaul update was released, this map did not change much from its Legacy version and only received new textures. Several new buildings have also been added in one corner of the map.
Legacy[]
Seraph Research is a big map with many unique areas. It has two main buildings, an outside area and two underground sections. Most of the building’s space is filled with laboratories, research rooms, storage rooms, theaters, garages, parking plots and receptions that are connected via corridors, ramps, staircases and hallways. Its outside area is not as complex as the rest of the map because it only has trees, roads and vehicles. The underground section has a lot going for it: there are multiple ways of entering and leaving it, a lot of different rooms and hallways and some secrets included there. The Seraph Research Center feels like a maze while the player is traveling through it. The player has a lot of freedom of movement outside. However, the movement can be limited when the player enters the buildings and the underground section, because of the narrow corridors and staircases. Furthermore, this map can be played during the day and the night. Around the map, you can find shipping containers stacked up together next to the picnic table at one of the corners of the map with the label: "ISC Incorporated", which is a reference to the ISC Faction from Tower Blitz, another game made by Hexagon Development Community.
Trivia[]
- In the legacy version, this map has its own OST called "Complex State Building".
- On the first floor you can find several Roblox awards for various events.
- Among them are also Best Lobby 7th Bloxy Award which was received by Beefchoplets.
- The old Seraph Research background is used in Interloper Mission when you switch from one map to another.
