Legacy Exclusive Squidward is about content that does not stay in the Overhaul update, and either appears in the Legacy version. |
Squidward is one of the various nextbots, which chases players in Evade. It was added on August 20th, 2022, in The Ikea Update . It can be seen primarily in Legacy Evade but cannot be found in Evade Overhaul.
Overview[]
Appearance[]
Squidward is a anthropomorphic squid with a teal skin, He is from a kids cartoon names spongebob square pants, with a big nose, he wears the brown shirt and has 6 tentacles but the image of him is zoomed in which aren't seen though, he potentially appears to be angry. It is an image of the said character except he is a highly realistic 3D model based off close up scenes in the show where the characters/objects have hyper-realistic detail. In-Game, he is slightly transparent which may make him difficult to see sometimes. However, it was changed to look like the other nextbots.Origin[]
Image[]
Squidward is based off the character of the same name from the kids' cartoon TV show SpongeBob SquarePants.Trivia[]
- Unlike all other nextbots, Squidward will only rotate on one axis towards the player, this is due to the fact that Squidward uses a Beam texture instead of a BillboardGUI image. This is most obvious when looking at Squidward from above.
- This is common with most free model nextbots found on Roblox Studio.
- Squidward is the first nextbot in the game to be transparent naturally. The reasoning for this is because he lost his transparency in recent updates of the game.
- Squidward is the only nextbot that uses a Beam texture rather than a BillboardGUI image. This is one of the reasons why he was transparent at first.
- As of August 4, 2024, Squidward's image now uses the BillboardGUI and it's image was reverted back to its original image
